How lending works
From application to repayment

Application
A member submits an application indicating the amount, purpose and repayment period.

Eligibility review
The application is reviewed against the member's records and the applicable lending rules.

Verification / security checks
Any required guarantor, security or supporting document requirements are checked.
- STEP 4
Approval
The application is approved, deferred or declined in line with the approved approval process.
- STEP 5
Disbursement
Approved amounts are disbursed and the repayment schedule is recorded.
- STEP 6
Repayment
Repayments are receipted and recorded against the loan account.
Each stage is carried out by authorised officers according to their assigned role and permissions.
