Membership eligibility

Membership is open to any adult who can meet the basic requirements below and keep up a regular contribution.

  • Individual applicants aged 18 and above, subject to venture rules
  • A valid National ID or other identification document accepted under the approved rules
  • An active mobile number for member communication
  • Next-of-kin or beneficiary details where required
  • Acceptance of the applicable rules and by-laws
  • Ability to meet the approved contribution requirements

Good to know

  • You may apply to join more than one venture; each venture keeps its own membership record.
  • Outstanding obligations in another venture are considered when an application is reviewed.
  • Membership becomes active only after review and approval by an authorised officer.

Membership journey

Six steps from choosing a venture to active membership

    Choose your venture

    Decide whether SACCO, Self Help Group or the Credit Venture matches your goal. You may join more than one.

  2. 2

    Prepare your details

    Your identification details, mobile number, address and next-of-kin or beneficiary information.

  3. 3

    Start your application

    Create an applicant account online when public registration is open, or contact the office for assistance.

  4. 4

    Complete your profile and documents

    Fill in the required information and upload the supporting documents requested during the application.

  5. 5

    Submit for review and approval

    An authorised officer reviews the application and may request changes before approval.

  6. 6

    Begin participating

    Once your membership is activated and the applicable fees and contributions are confirmed, you can begin participating.

Paying in

Approved payment methods are communicated by the office and may include supported digital or bank channels. Always use your member reference and retain the official receipt.
